ok, i have backed up my games (gran turismo, and my buddy helped me out with marvel ultimate alliance 2) ok, dont ask me how he got alliance 2 for psp, but he got it. alliance 2 acts the same as my gran turismo. also as a side not i have now removed my umd for speaker mod i have been wondering about. i use his psp to dump my umd's. anyways, when i try to run my gran turismo and alliance 2 i go to a black screen and nothing happens. all my other dumps work. when i goto alliance and GT in the game menu i get the demo screen like any other dump but like i said i get black screen, and nothing. any suggestions? oh yeah, i am also running 500 m336. since these are newer games, do i need a newer cfw?
another edit, lol. i just read that if i want to play gt and so i need 600 and if i need that i should goto timemachine. man back to timemachine? will this work? how should i go about installing timemachine and play new 600 ofw? i read if i do use time machine and and upgrade to ofw i can just press L at start and goto test 500m336 and be fine. is this right or am i wasting my time?

or do i need an updated version of devhook or fastloader? im using fastloader and have no probs with it fro other dumps. i have heard fastloader is an old app should i use another better app? but, i guess these will not address my issues here in this thread. but please anwer about fastloader

What do you mean about "failed"? Give us some information to help you out.

Btw, as iamfreak said in an other thread. Read this. It also works on 4.01 M33 and above.

nevermind all that, i got 5.50 gen a on now and now i need to put decrypter on and then eboot in root then decrypt that then open my gt and replace eboots and then create it as an iso again and then blamo?

back again witgh another problem. i downloaded 5.50genb2 from here and done the update, but it still says gen A full. do i need to do each update all the way up to gen b2?

No.
Go back to 5.00 m33 and use the XGEN UPDATER v2 and XGEN PANDORA v2 to go directly to 5.50 GEN-B2.

@nickxab, let him try to update using the app supplied first. If that didn't work, then he should go back to 5.00 M33-6 then to 5.50 GEN-B2.

@slimvader, read this guide. It was edited with the new method to upgrade to 5.50 GEN-B2.
