There was an interesting discussion going on over at PSP Hacks...
Since the thread did not get to much attention I decided to start one over here, not just because people here seem to be a bit more relaxed.
Ok, the point is this: I started doing some research towards the Game Sharing Feature of the psp. I started the game burnout legends and navigated to the game sharing and started that one too, while on my pc ethereal was running, ready to capture packets. I came up with something that looks like a hello message of some sort and a second one that seems pretty random to me. Today I looked into winpcap and wrote a few lines of code that basicly emulate what burnout legends was broadcasting in the first place. I got my psp to react to that in some way but since I know nothing about that protocol, that doesn't help too much. So here is my question:
Does anyone here have 2 PSPs, a wireless eqipment attached to their computer, the game burnout legends and some basic knowledge about wlan?
If you fill that requirements and are willing to help please contact me. You would have to install ethereal, and capture the whole transfer that happens when you run the Game Sharing feature between the two psps. Then pack it up and send it to me so I can have a look at it and maybe try to emulate the whole process. If you could repeat this process a couple of times it would make things easier.
Thanks in advance for any help!
ps: sorry for crappy englisch.
