Ok, here's the thing.
We can't run homebrew on 2.0 (or 1.51/1.52) until an EXPLOIT (a hole in the firmware) is found that will allow programs to run without Sony's signature. At the moment, teams are attempting different methods: -Memory Buffer Overflows (Stack Overflows) - where because of certain data sizes and lines of code the PSP acts oddly or crashes, maybe they can exploit this to run an eboot instead of crashing? -Taking apart eboots and adding bits from official Sony eboots (update files). PSPCaliber are doing well with this and similar methods. -Downgraders, allowing the PSP to use a 1.5 update file even though it already has a later firmware. Well, that's it, good luck
