actually.. i believe the memory dump just dumps whats in the memory(not firmware dump)
however, http://sunkone.cjb.net/psp/flash-backup/ is a firmware dumper, sum1 dump it and up the dump so we can investigate

Er, it dumps the firmware? Allows programmers to decrypt the 2.0 system modules and see what changes have been made since 1.52.
Although 2.0 has been partially decrypted before (it was on the day of release) this is the first time every single file has been decrypted. Slowly 2.0's barriers are falling. Oh, it is of no use to any non-coder. |

ok, i dont want to get excited, i have a good understanding of electronics etc etc.
but can someone who is in the know, please post just what this means?? and what benefits the coders out there will be able to do with this. thanks it`ll save all us `grockles` posting "whats does it mean"

Just read PSPpet's comments on ps2dev.org - he wrote the PSAR dumper used to decrypt the previous firmware... and it seems that the firmware dumper doesn't fully decrypt the new modules at all and doesn't produce results that different from the dump that's been available since day one of 2.0.
