actually.. i believe the memory dump just dumps whats in the memory(not firmware dump)

however,
http://sunkone.cjb.net/psp/flash-backup/
is a firmware dumper, sum1 dump it and up the dump so we can investigate

Just ran the 'hello world' app(the decent looking one).

Is there anyway to run these simple apps without the PSP Crashing?!?

Er, it dumps the firmware? Allows programmers to decrypt the 2.0 system modules and see what changes have been made since 1.52.

Although 2.0 has been partially decrypted before (it was on the day of release) this is the first time every single file has been decrypted.

Slowly 2.0's barriers are falling.

Oh, it is of no use to any non-coder.

Just read PSPpet's comments on ps2dev.org - he wrote the PSAR dumper used to decrypt the previous firmware... and it seems that the firmware dumper doesn't fully decrypt the new modules at all and doesn't produce results that different from the dump that's been available since day one of 2.0.
