How do people write emulators for the PSP program?
That was kind of a rhetorical question because I'm not thinking of writing any emulators but I just wanted to know if a programmer can get an access to a Gameboy Advanced emulator source, can they just port it to PSP?

I just realized that VBA also exists for PC version and thought that's how the mysterious author of VBA for PSP created it.

For an emulator to run really well on the PSP, it needs to be made in assembly.

It's a lot easier to just port someone elses code in c++, however, so that's what most people do.

I see, so the source for PC version of VBA will not be of much use?
For having a smooth running GBA emulator on psp, that is.
