hey, I've searched around, and I can't find anything, I just want to make sure it will be ok. I think it should since US psp owners used the jap firmware ver update.

just ease my concious so I can go on with the downgrade. thanks.

mine is a jap psp last time with ver1.5... upgraded to 2.0... and used the mph downgrader to make it back to 2.0 again... works like magic.

I don't think it matters much though, I just realized MediEvil Resurection has the 1.52 update on the UMD. so it would be kind of pointless I guess. unless there is a way to emulate 1.52 on a 1.5...

Use "PSP No update" instead. No writing to flash required.

there's a cheating app avail
cheat 1.5 as 2.0 but it is a 1.5 actually

I think Medievil requires 1.52

Virtua Tennis requires 1.52, but I've been cheating it without software. I insert my Ridge Racer UMD (any game which works on 1.50 without update will do), then after the white splash screen, I quickly take it out and insert Virtua Tennis.
That works excellently.

As far as I know, WipEout, Ridge Racer, Lumines and US launch titles work. :icon_wink
