Default SNES9X speed boost?

on other forums there was mention that SNES9X speed was able to be boosted to PSP's max, 333mhz. On the latest version of SNES9X I can't find that option to do this.

Aside from the square and circle buttons to "run" and the pad to go through the directory, there is a section that says "default settings" with a star icon next to it. I assume there's a way to get into these settings, but how can this be done?

Thanks for all your help!

after your rom is running... shift your analog stick left... you will enter a menu. from there you should see the psp clockspeed that you can change.

SNES9X SPEED BOOST ULTIMATE SOLUTION:

It appeared that after boosting the cpu to 333mhz AND futzing with the GFX Engine settings, the music would really slow down at points in every game (which in turn makes the games slow down again, even if your 333mhz setting is intact). If you're getting this symptom...

What you want to do is trash ALL SNES files (except for the ROMs and Save Files, of course, which you could temporarily move to another folder on your memory stick). Empty the trash and install fresh files of SNES9X and place the ROMs files themselves in the SNES folder WITHOUT the % symbol. DO NOT place the ROMs in a folder at all. Start a game, go to the settings menu and just stay with the "PSP accel.+accu. soft" setting after setting the CPU to 333mhz, and save it as the default setting.

At this point all SNES games should play flawlessly with great, normal speed. DO NOT futz with the GFX settings again or else you'll have to start all over again.

Aye. Frameskip 1 effectively doubles the performance without making a noticable dent in FPS.

That doesn´t help at all. Mario RPG, Yoshis Island and many other still have a slowdown and up from 50 to 60 and back again and again, it´s inacceptable. (or whatever)
