Default Question about the SNES9X speed problem

This isnt like the other forum, and im not about to hijack it with my question of doom. Now, evrytime i boost the speed to 333mhZ and put the graphics to 3.0 most of the games seem to crash. I dont know if this has to do with the rom, or the program itself, or even the PSP! If i download the overclocker program, will it fix it?

I notice that my games tend to crash more when I'm playing around with the emu settings alot, or constantly going back and forth from game to setup screen. But when I finally get everything right and I'm just playing the game my system rarely crashes. So it could either be that or the roms I dunno...
