Why doesnt this work?

the new dgen has a game genie made in it, but i cant get it to work on any sonic

why would you need a game genie for Sonic dude? play Sonic 2, and do the debug and super sonic codes:
hold A while starting your game up, go to options and go down to sound test, then press C on each of these numbers IN ORDER - 19 65 9 17
while still holding A press start, then when the game reboots, press start at the main menu, you will be in level select, remember your still holding A. now go to the sound test at the bottom right corner (half way up the screen) and play these sounds IN ORDER - 4 1 2 6 1 9 9 2 1 1 2 4
then pick your level, press start, let go of A and you will have super sonic powers, and debug mode, get 50 coins and jump to get super sonic, and press B and C to use debug mode (infinite coins basically)

i have FW 1.5, so pspgenesis doesnt work and dgen doesnt support the sound on sonic2

Is there any support for the bug in D-Gen that makes the game genie menu less distorted its very hard to see what codes i am inputting ?

PSPGenesis works on FW 1.5 without issue. I'm playing it right now.
