Default Playstation Emulator on Tapwave Zodiac.

As a previous owner of one of these machines ( sold to buy my PSP ) I found THIS quite intresting. Yes a Playstion Emulator, but if you read through the thread you suddenly discover that it's running at quite and impressive speed, faster than our current Playstation Emulator for our PSP.

It just makes me wonder considering the specs of the Tapwave, I mean it only had a 200mhz processor...

So why is Playstion on PSP so bad?

I believe that they have can execute all of the Tapwave's specs, however. PSP s can only work with homebrew, no?

We can't access the GPU. If we could, then we would majorly reduce the amount of power required to emulate the PSP, and remove the need to use 33Mhz to run puny consoles like the Snes.

If memory serves me TYLs emulator uses the GPU to a degree.

Once the GPU is available, lots more should be easily possible, if not a good solidification of the stuff that's not running so well now.

I have a feeling it'd take quite a bit of reverse-engineering to get to the GPU.
