can anyone explain how to get the megadrive emulator to work? im not sure what the buttons do and dunno where the roms go

YES! I've read the Ultimate Guide (obviously) and the help for SMS PSP does not help.

BTW Nem, The rom's should go in the Rom folder and should be with the file extensions .sms or .gg but I can't get them to work so I don't know what the buttons are or anything else.

SMS is sega master system and game gear

megadrive is, well, the megadrive

lol the master system was my first ever console as well!! great times

the megadrive came out a long time after the master system, wasnt it around the time of the snes that the megadrive was released? it was also called the sega genesis

Ah ok... because I could have sworn I played master system games on the genesis... which is why I never knew the diffrence

Sega Megadrive was the name in the EU for the Sega Genesis console. If my memory serves me right it was because of some other company marketing a product called the Genesis at the same time as the Megadrive was due to be released in the EU so it had to be renamed for legal reasons.

Of course, i'm not sure if something similar happened with the Jap Super Famicom needing to be renamed as the Super Nintendo elsewhere in the world.

the master system is a 8 bit console and the mega drive a 16 bit
the mega drive was released before the snes.
