Default Where is new version of PSP Media Player?

Anybody know something about new version of PSP Media Player ? It was so great project, possibility of playing other movie formats like AVI on PSP was so wonderful for me! But gaeko99 haven’t released anything since 30/09/2005. Maybe there is a better program to play AVI files?

There's the PSP Media Player (PMP) 0.0.5 which does a nice job of playing DivX/XviD (and supposably wma, among others).

It's in korean, but there's help on how to use it on that same page (see user comments). There's an english translation somewhere too, but I'm not quite sure where it is.

Eh?
jockyw2001 translated 0.0.5 to english but JiniCho hasn't released 0.0.6 yet.

At the moment, it's only really worth looking at as "proof of concept".

MP4 on the PSP is smaller in filesize than the PSP anyhow.
When you can play AVi @ full frame rate on the PSP, the only advantage will be 480x272 video as opposed to the 340x250 res MP4s are limited to.
