Any idea how to get 2.0 firmware.Just got psp with 1.5.1(rubbish) but for free as a present ,now need to put it back to 1.5.Therefore will need the 2.0 anybody have a link please , help

Do NOT go to sony's site, they have the 2.5 update. Not the 2.00.

I used it yesterday its fine

Im not trying to be mean, but work on your spelling.

You put that file in your memorystick so it should be like this..

X:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/eboot.pbp

X is the drive letter, ex. Mine is F so itd be F:/

Then update it and go back here and read the Downgrader tutorials and do what they say.

EDIT:
Oh and also if your new to the PSP Scene read the ultimate newbies guide to the psp in my signature. It will help alot!

I am familiar with the psp but new in the forums just need to help friend.That why I am quick quick,thank you a lot for the hint "Folder" is the one thing I forgot, now is sweet,

All the information you needed is EASILY found. Not only is it stickied at the top of several forums and in the FAQs/Guide forum, but it's also in half the people's sigs around here. In fact, there are not one but TWO downgrading threads stickied at the top of this very forum.

Please just look around and make use of the search function before posting.

Malum, I don't know how you do it man. If I were you, I'd probably just snap one day while reading something this stupid and permaban them. Yet again, a thread as stupid as this makes me think that people are creating multiple accounts just so they can make nonsense posts and rack up points.
