Default Sega Saturn Emu

sega saturn was essentially a glorified 2d machine...it should be possible to run it on the PSP. are there any emulators in existence or in the works?

it is complicted because i think the saturn had 2 motherboards and while its posible on the pc i dunt think it may reach psp but hey thats just my early outlook but as always maybe someone will release one

i highly doubt we will ever see a saturn emulator for the PSP that runs anything ... possibly *slim chance* maybe demos.

There are currently none.

3D emulators are more difficult to develop on the PSP than 2D for obvious reasons, but eventually we might see some.

Doesn't look impossible to me...
It'd be very much possible if someone ported the appropriate libraries.
On a side note, found this as an open-source multi-platform Saturn emulator: http://yabause.sourceforge.net/index.php

No chance of ever getting the PSP to emulate the Saturn..

For a start I believe there are no GPU calls to intercept as with the Saturn it's all done with the twin-SH2s - so nothing for the PSP to hardware accelerate. (AFAIK)

You prob need a fast PC to run Saturn games properly.
