QJ.net Game Discussion - PSP, Xbox, Wii, PS3, PSP Homebrew, and PSP Guides

I live in Montreal, and I just got my weekly 'WalMart' flyer in the junkmail pile, and noticed that they are offering: The Sims 2, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and SOCOM, aswell as the usual GTA:LCS in the new release section.

I looked in the usual placed for any of those titles and found nothing. I didn't even see these games mentionned in many psp news sites, including this one. Is the flyer a screw up and these aren't out yet, or do these all require 2.0 and therefore haven't been uploaded? (which i find strange since GTA was uploaded and is 2.0 only.)

Sims 2 is not out yet but LOTR is and it does require 2.0. I think it came out yesterday?

I'm pretty sure Harry Potter GoF requires you to update to 2.00.

Socom, GTA, and LOTR have that Protection method. But im not positive on the sims 2. It could be like Star wars Battlefront 2 where it does require 2.00 but you can get through it though fastloader.

You guys are sure LOTR requires 2.0 in the same way GTA does???

No ive read that you can start the game with 1.5 but it stops on the second level.
