Any info on the next release date

I havent heard from DeNitro in a while, but last we spoke he had to fix a bug that makes many of the songs that worked before work improperly on this new version. I dont want him to release it before fixing this and I'm sure you dont either.

we were thinking of implementing a 'jukebox' mode similar to stepmania, but until the gameplay is fully refined you will have to wait for that in one of next releases ;)

I just played your game and WOW.
All i can say is that your homebrew is great!
I Aint usually a suck-up when it come's to stuff like
this but, You have talent! Also it say's something related
to PSP Advance in the credit's (What was it again? lol)

PSPr is tight! Even though renaming and resizing the files (as well as making a completely new file for the banners), also along with some audio lags, this things great! So far, I've put 35 songs. Too good :). Can't wait for the full release with other options such as shuffle and etc.

I wanted to let you guys know we are still working on PSP Revolution! The holiday season snuck up on us fast and unfortunatly Devin923 and I both work retail =/
I'm already up to a 7 day, 60 hour work week but luckly there's only 2.5 weeks to go till the x-mas shopping season is over. We are still working on the game when we can though.

Sorry again for the lengthy delay.

On a side note, We got .OGG support added so songs using those music files will play in the next version, including Plaguefox's Mix Three.

Oh this may be kinda late but can you make it so we can change the song directories? Cuz Since I have all this DDR music I'd like to have it in my PSP music folder so I can listen to while on the go. It'd be nice and save me alot of space from just recopying songs.

Kinda along those same lines, it'd be great if the screenshot saved to a ms0:/PSP/PHOTO/PSP Revolution folder. That way the SS's can be viewed in the PSP photo browser.

Zip file or rar support would be great. More towards rar cause it saves more space. About 50 mb of my psp is used by psp revolution and with rar support that can turn into 30mb.

awesome indeed :) is there going to be animated backgrounds at one point ? are the techniques used to develop homebrow games allowing this ? i bet its really difficult to come up with a game like this. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR IT :) its in my top 3 favorite homebrew game list.

It's almost been a month. But I'm not complaining. The first version is still entertaining me.

Hey Hey! just wanted to send out a lil update on our progress

Since our last release a few things have been fixed :icon_wink
- interlaced images no longer crash the psp
- you can now scroll down in folders that had too many songs
- added *.ogg support
- sync issues fixed (95% complete)
working on compensating for poorly written step files and misc. bugs

DeNirto has been working his tail off this holiday season at work so things have slowed down a lil, but even with working 70 hours a week he still has the drive to work on getting our next release out as soon as possible.

In the mean time I am working on Note Skins and Profiles as well as a few extra features. Hopefully all this will find its way into our next version.

What to expect in our next release...
- A step engine that will run 99% of all your *.dwi and *.sm files
- Little to no crashes on your PSP
- other features will only be implemented in the next version if time allows

Things are going well and we are always thrilled to see the enormous amount of Downloads, Posts and Views we have gotten so far. I cant wait to see the responce on our next more complete version.

and i with a member find a way to fix all the music from pc into psp,and it 100% works!

the DWI need to delete all the "double" mode;and the PNG need to use ACDSEE trans again~~`I found ur program don't work good with the PNG form~`

please feel free to make skins for PSPR, in the future we plan to have support for player made skins. If they are good enough who knows they could find their way into one of our next releases :icon_wink

Hey, I simply love DDR and any Step games involved.
I just want to give some hints where to go when you are an advanced player
www.arch0wl.com is THE place to be for advanced SM and DWI files, watch out though cuz they arent easy Oo, I thought I could play good DDR, but I can't survive 30 secs in their songs.

I hereby include some screenshots wich I took with some basic songs and some more difficult songs (I know I'm not good at those oO)

KB made simfiles are nearly impossible on the PSP. I guess it could be done but sims from archowl like guassion blur simply won't be possible.

I find that however I slice it, I can't get a Perfect or marvelous on the steps in which you have to hold down the button. It is always 'Okay' but when I first press it always says 'Perfect' and when I check my score there are like 8 okays. Is that a bug?

With Freeze buttons, there is not perfect when you complete it,
You have either Not Good (N.G.) or Okay (Okay is highest ofcourse)

The song you are looking for has a high rating so you can sort your search that way and is titled "Vater Unser w/ Hellsing AMV"

This site has a large data base of songs, although when you run a search make sure to use only DWI and SM formated songs with PSPR.

*Note: alot of these songs may have problems with using pspr... the only way to know is to try them, as you know we are currently working to elimiante all bugs and sync issues before the next release :) soon you will not have to worry about any issues.
