I've been using Pixie to read some eBooks on my PSP. When it works, it's perfect, but I've been having a lot of problems converting the files to the .book format it required. I need my eBooks to look good so can't settle for plain text files with formatting problems.
Generally, my converted .book files miss out all the quotation marks (") surrounding the text when characters speak, so that immediately makes any book near impossible to read. Sometimes they are included in the converted file, but I can't figure out why most of the time they are not.
Also, I can't figure out why some books contain the chapter divisions and some don't. It makes it very difficult to have to scroll back through 100+ pages of text to get to where I left off, because the bookmark feature doesn't work once the PSP has been turned off. So what do the HTML files I convert need to contain to let Pixie know I want the chapter divisions?
The Pixie website doesn't contain any way of contacting the author for help.
Pixie will be perfect for eBook reading once it irons out these bugs and I congratulate the author, but is there anything better in the meantime? I don't suppose anything will appear that can read Microsoft .LIT files?
