every time i press L or R it freezes and i know theres mp3's in my music folder what should i do.WESTSIDE

I know there was a bug in version 0.4 where the mp3 loader that could cause a crash, have you tried downloading version 0.4a? There was a few minor updates in that modpack version and one was a fix for loading mp3's.
