sorry if this is in the wrong place but i had an idia for a new app
one that can connect to a pop3 server and get your emails i would love to see this project come alive but i hate c/c++ is annoying :S thnaks and if any one would like to help me to get this project going my email address is ben.stringer2005@gmail.co m and u can add it to msn as well

true but i carnt code full stop lol im doing a portal site and i thoght of an app that would get emails but i just need some one to help me

there already is such an app but it UBERLY sucks cz u have to know the incoming and outgoing server and the IP and tech stuff like that so i havent been able to set it up

Ummm...that's how ALL email clients work.
You have to know the SMTP and the POP3 server URLs/IPs in order to get ANY email client to work.

Go into your Gmail and there's a help section in there that tells you how to setup an external mail client for use with Gmail.
