Would it be possible to replace the samsung nand with a 2gb sandisk one,
cause that would be a cheap memory solution, after that we only have to make a prog wich can read from the nand and write to it, not in user mode so you can replace the firware using usb so you'll have a 1.5 or any firmware to 1.0 downgrader. |

I Dont think its IMPOSSIBLE, but if you look at that list on the PSPu Homepage there are other nand/ram devices problem is that the one on the psp is the biggest one i think. Youd also have to get that other chip to recognize the new ram and nand which might be difficult. But i dunno that was all just speculation right there. never say never yknow?

And what would be the point? New software would have to be programmed to make use of a "bigger" chip. The current software wouldn't run any different with a bigger NAND anyway.
