you could use the wipeout browser or the tenchi no mon (sorry dunno how to write it)

also look in the developers dungeon there's a thread about a 1.5 browser curently in development and it looks quite cool.

There are many browsers, Fired Up being the best, but as its ripped, PSPU cannot host it. Just search for it on the internet, or go to psp-hacks.com, i think they have it, but I am not sure.

no it doesnt. it is ripped, which means it is an iso. it can be run on 1.50 using UMDEMU, but obviously since it is an iso, cant be run on a higher version. also currently nothing can "Auto-update" your firmware, because you need to have the AC adaptor plugged in, and if it "auto-updated" someone might not have the adaptor plugged in and their psp could brick if their battery died, or their psp acidently got shut off.

THanks folks, Last question, The readme says for the umd emulator

his time we present you a full featured
UMD emulator, reboot & exitgame tight - you have to turn off your PSP completely
(or crash it ) to get it back to original state.

So you have to reboot the psp to exit the Browser? Thanks.

i believe so, i personally have a 2.60 so i couldnt test. It is running an iso, so you can try just pressing home and see if it works.

I'm getting so sick of these threads...

1.) There are a few browser for 1.5
-Wipout Pure (Worst)
-Tenchi No Mon (Better)
-Fried Up (Fired Up) (Best to date)
-1.5 Web Browser made by the people of this forum will be the best.

2.) None of them can update your firmware. I mean come on what would the point be of a 1.5 web browser that updates your firmware... take a minute to think next time.

3.) The Fried Up (Fired Up) Browser needs an UMD Emulator because it is infact ripped from a UMD. At this time you must shut off (Hold the power button up for a number of seconds) the psp in order to return to the main menu.

Now time for my questions to you.

1.) Why couldn't you use the search button?

2.) Why not update to 2.0. We can run homebrew now....

I read all the stickies on most of the threads and coulden't find my answer. I searched 1.5 Browser, and found some edgy respones. Now instead of posting your Flame, you could of posted nothing and saved time, and we would of all been happy. K thanks.

Read my post again and you will notice that my post wasn't a flame and it infact answered every single one of you're questions down the to excact dot. So you may not want to admit it and that's fine with me. You're Welcome.

While I agree on the auto-update issue, the AC adaptor thing doesn't hold true any longer. Updating from 2.5 to 2.6 does not require the adapter to be plugged in (I did it with 60% battery level).
