Hi,

I decrypted the 2.6 firmware update.

tried to get it to run in sxt's new loader and mph's but it didnt work...not surprsing.

anyways, if anyone wants the flash0 and flash1 for 2.6 decrypted pm me or email me at nytrixpsp@gmail.com

they have changed the way you decrypted the 2.6 update, so we can't do it the old way...

I Now have unencrypted 2.6 flash1 and flash0..it goes to boot in sxt bfm and returns to 1.5

how did you extract the files from the psar ? Did you use Scepsar directly ? (it wouldn't be legal unlike psar dumper since it uses libpsar from the descrypted 2.60 data.psp)

Then how did you get the prx encryption keys ? (That's the part I am interested in

)(they changed in the 2.60 fw)

It's still hard to believe that you indeed extracted the psar file, I hope you will share the knowledge about how you did it, especially if you performed reverse engeneering and created your own extractor such as psar dumper.

Again I hardly believe you, even using the official sony API to get the files is pain in the ass, and I am not even talking of retrieving the prx keys.....

What's the fw file architecture? What do you get once it's decrypted ?

Not necessarily.

Decrypted means you've taken something that was encrypted and undone it. Unencrypted could mean it was never crypted in the first place.

So how did you do it?
Also have you tried launching it with sxt but with the flash1 from a 1.5 as for 2.00 upwards it doesn't like the flash1.
