Okay, first off I have searched everywhere for months(and I do mean EVERYWHERE, here and web). Second, I am not a noob.
As I have stated before, I started customizing gameboot.pmfs way before pspset was even thought of. I was doing fine until(due to lack of sleep :Argh: ) I used a pmf that was too large(the EA pmf from NFS). So, when I try to load anything from that game menu or a UMD it shows a second of the gameboot then freezes and eventually shuts off. Everything else works.
I have tried creating a cable to connect to a PC through the serial port next to the headphone jack to no avail. I have connected the PSP to a number of different peripherals and got very close to getting access to the flash.
Anyway here is what I desperatly need if some one is gracious enough to help me in anyway.
All I need is a way to bypass the gameboot by some means, such as an overflow or a file on the mem card to be read when the PSP starts up. Or somthing someone else knows of. Please. I have a simple prog that when it isn't supplied with a replacement pmf it simply creates a blank one which does work cuz thats how i had it before.
I have exhausted my resources and I am begging for any and all suggestions, and will return favor anyway I can.
P.S. its a 1.5 "virgin"
