Okay, through extensive testing for my own amusement, I have been testing the MPH Frimware Launcher:
*Im using a 1.5 American PSP (Black)*
*Running Firmware Launcher 1.3.7
*Using a 2.5 Eboot
It loads the firmware.
It displays all portions of the firmware.
It shows UMD's and their animations/backgrounds.
IT shows UMD's when there placed into the psp AFTER loading the launcher.
The browser works.
****Using the PSP sampler disk: Going
to the Movies tab, It LAUNCHES the UMD.
****It also plays the movies perfectly. Every option in video works that can be tested with the Sampler disk (can't use angle, subtitle, audio etc.)
****Using the PSP sampler disk: Going to the Music tab, it launches the UMD. But, when choosing one of the videos, it crashes!
Network Update: Lets you make a new network connection, and estabilsh a network, but an internal error occurs at saving.
USB mode works.
Video Settings: Changing language works (though not visable.) Audio Language: works (though not visable.) Subtitle Language works (though not visable) UMD Video Volume works (I can assume this works, since when launching the UMD and playing the video, and choosing to increase the volume, it works.)
Photo Settings: Slideshow Speed works.
System Settings: It worked when trying to change things, but I went back to it while doing this post, and I got the blue screen of errors. In which the PSP went back to the real VSHELL. Nickname: Changeable (works) System Language: works (visable) Battery Information: Works (displays correct amounts) Restore Default Settings: works (restarts psp, ***Didn't auto launch my UMD when it reverted to the real VSHELL, when relaunching the launcher, you get the blue screen.) I have to stop here, because I have to reinstall the flash0 and flash1.
Attention: Don't do this, you will be unable to run the MPH launcher again, I have tried reinstalling the files 3 times now, and every time i launch it, it crashes!
System settings: Character Set (internal error)
Format Memory Stick: [Doing this in theory might break my psp, by destroying the firmware being launched, it might crash and not start up again)
