I am looking to start a small project and I want to get a list of software requests. Be reasonable I an one person wanting to find something to mess around with while bringing something usefull to people...

What Homebrew software do you want? - NO WEB BROWSER!

Just ask and I will give a thumbs up or a thumbs down.

n64 emu would be the ultimate for a psp... but seeing that isnt going to happend im going to say a gba emulator ^^

or a port of halo zero... since halo on a psp would be kickass

I am talkin software. AM/FM radio is a no go with out hardware modifications.

Port of HALO? Your joking right? //edit - Halo Zero is a side scroller. I may look into it

n64 no go not something I am interested in.
gba emu already exists.

hmm let me see some program/shell that plays mp3 and ur able to change wallpaper and theme, also tha loads umds o and u can call it psp-oss

how abot a game where ur 2 frogs and u like jump in to shoes and depending on which shoe u jump in the diffrent abilities u get, kinda like that cartoon (i think it was w/ daffy duck and porky and there stayindg in this haunted house)

Hmmm well ultimately what I would want is an RPG Maker type program. But that would be a pretty huge project to take up. A Halo Zero port sounds really nice. Maybe a video player that plays videos in 480x272 resolution (I know I heard something like this before, but havn't really read inot it, so if there's already something like this don't bother.

An interesting app that would be very useful to people (and I think interesting to make) would be something to manage game-saves.

At the moment we have the tools to decrypt the GTA savegame, and any other so long as the encryption key can be found.

An app that can scan BOOT.BIN for the encryption key (presumably by having the UMD in the drive for the savegame you want to work with), then decrypt the savegame to allow for editing, and then re-encrypt afterwards, would be pretty useful.

If you wanted to get smart, you could make it into a more generic save-hacking tool, perhaps doing diffs between the data between 2 similar savegames, maybe include a hex-editor, whatever.

I think it would be kinda cool, and it would also make the hunt for further game exploits (like GTA) a lot easier.

Fanjita perhaps we could get together and discuss this at some point. It shoulds like an interesting project. And fairly easy at that.

Also I wouldnt mind having a good TXT reader since none have emerged in a while. There are alot of tools that can be utilized now that were not before.

an mIRC client to dl stuff online and you can even extract it in your psp and install inside PSP and then run it without the help of a PC. that would kick assss.

N64 Emulator would be nice but....

I would rather perfer a NEO GEO (Regular System), not CD or portable, but the regular console.

A BETTER Snes and BETTER GBA emulator would be nice

A program which can run formats of music and show more pictures.

And a actually 100% reliable Version Changer would be nice also.
