Default Need help with PSPrevolution

I have psprevolution v.1 and i am trying to get my own songs to play. I have downloaded sm files from benamistyle, and put them onto the stick in their own folder, but when i go to select the folder it freezes and turns off. I have tried deleting the banner as i read here that it is wrong size for psprevolution, but that didnt work, and my background is an ok size according to the tutorial located in the forums. Please help, i cant get any songs to play.

The images can usually be resaved using Paint or Irfanview. That will correct those problems.

Also, sm files in particular require the following attributes: #MUSICBYTES, #MUSICLENGTH.

Ex. Attitude
#MUSICBYTES:1668075;
#MUSICLENGTH:154.255;

one of our testers for PSPR brought to my attention something that if in a song can crash the PSP. In alot of older DDR songs they use to use different sets of arrows for the same song to increase playability called DDR Edits.

I have found that in all cases if a song has a DDR edit or alternate steps within that step file it will crash the PSP be cause we did not compensate for that variable.

If this is the case the reason that this crashes the PSP is the way it is written the PSP will try to look at the first Single step file within the file all others in that string, the program tries to read as notes... since #single in not a note it gets all messed up and doesnt know what to do

In the newer version alot of these problems will be addressed.
