Default So I got 5GB's of space for my PSP...

A Datel 4GB hard drive and a 1 GB stick. What homebrew should I have here. I have NES, SNES, GENESIS, pretty much covered and a couple NEO Geo GAMES along with some stuff for UMD Emu. What else should I have? I have about 380MB's left on my 4GB and 390ish on my 1GB.

Plus I always carry a downgrader on my 1GB and I have a briefcase so I always have my AC adapter.

^_^

I mean what am I missing. I have plenty of space so I want to know what other programs/emulators I shouldn't be without. Just the names of the programs that are running relatively fast and smooth like the MAME emu's. They have a whole section on MAME and yet I still don't understand why there are so many versions.

Get PSPRevolution (DDR), AOTM, and lots of the other great homebrew. Then, just get lots of your favourite roms, and put some TV shows, and music on there.

Cool. I just got PSP Revolution and I guess I'll start looking for other songs for it.

And I thought AOTM was a galaga=esque thingy. Explain why everybody seems to be playing this.

It is a fun game, you kill mutant pizzas, and there are mods for it like the south park mod when you are Cartman and try kill Kenny.

Already got PSP-OSS, I just wish I didn't have to upgrade each time I wanted to play GTA LCS. But I have a downgrader on my 1GB so I'm okay most of the time, I just worry a little bit about bricking my psp. And PSP-OSS doesn't play UMD movies so it's pretty much useless to me. ^_^

I guess I'll get attack of the mutants and GBA emulator. What games run good with the latest version. Last time I tried out Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow it ran a little choppy. Any recommendations.

What about the mame emu's? Any games in particular that I shouldn't be without?

On a side note: What program could I use on a 2.0 PSP so I could rename the overflow.tiff at my leisure.

And what have you guys heard about these hardrives burning out. It does take a LONG time to upload anything to it and it's a bit slower than SD Mem cards.

Dude your wastin that 4 gb drive if you only got homebrew and emus on it. If I got one of them I know exactly what I would put on it. Lots and lots of ISOs. You can use the gig stick for music, photos and emus. Go on man up and give in to the pirate inside.

you should get fanjitas eboot loader so if you are at 2.0 and wana use an emu you can just use the eboot loader without downgrading, also use pspstex for downgrading

the neocd and scummvm emulation is better than anygames sony have come up with so far

if i were you id be plying through every compatable lucasarts scummvm game, such as; the dig, full throttle, monkey island 3, indiana jones 4

and a couple of others like beneath steel sky, broken sword 1&2 etc

for neo cd i'd recommend samurai showdown 4, metal slug 1&2, art of fighting 3, double dragon, street slam etc

for genesis emu i'd get cannon fodder , columns, shadow run, shining force 1&2, unchartered waters 2 and phantasy star 4

for snestyl, id get chrono trigger, seiken densetsu(translated), tales of phantasia(translated) secret of mana, earthbound

and i would fill the rest with mp4's, maybe have an iso of lumines or colin mcrae 2005

If i had that hard drive I wouldn't have bothered getting GTA. I would have just stuck a load of isos on it. But I don't have it so am playin proper games.

If you have it and want to play GTA then upgrade and as macca said get the eboot loader and put an butt load of roms on it. If you can find them get the rom packs cos they have hundreds in them. Don't bother putting music on it if you wanted 4 gb of music you should've got an ipod nano.
