1. open up the the fw1.5 eboot.pbp (CRC32: 8C997A77) in a hex editor
2. change data at offset 0x2F74 from "0600 4104" to "E907 240A"
3. save it. CRC32 after change should be C6319AC8
If anyone wants to know the offset for the fw1.0 eboot, I can find it if you want.
Everyone can now enjoy Quake 2 without having McZonk's opinion on ISO's shoved down their throat.
This here info came from a nice feller named dkofcc. I tested this myself and it works wonderfully. I imagine if you use Sei's PSP tool on the hexed 1.5 quake 2 then you'll have a ISO check free 1.0 Quake 2. :Jump:
