These aren't Screen Captures i took these out of the sysconf_plugin.rco.

The First picture is at offset 0x0001E91D - 0x0001F2D9

The Second picture is at offset 0x0001F2DC - 0x0002188F

The Third picture is at offset 0x00021890 - 0x000221B3

The fourth picture is at offset 0x000221B4 - 0x00024FF1

Also if anyone is willing to supply me with a new 1.5 Version of sysconf_plugin.rco i will give you a app to copy it off the flash i forgot to make a backup of mine. Right now the 1.0 Version works fine except the About PSP is all screwed up. :icon_wink

Edit: Fixed it with FakeUpdater Such a great program

They have to be stored somewhere. It still holds true what wildmatt said. They are displayed under Settings > System Settings > About PSP

Does that matter? He found the bit values of the images. Its better than seeing it being used and called by the PSP. I dont know man, maybe like update your psp to 2.0 then downgrade? Also, ever heard of PSPInside? Try to see if you can find the same bit values. Also, try looking for other picture related bit values in the PSP. Or something else that can let us tap further into the PSP. Great work!

It's just another Firmware Hack i want to try and figure out how to add my own pictures, but everytime i tried it just showed white i think it's because of the new Image isn't the exact size of the old image.

Way ahead of you good buddy,
www.lostnovice.com/sonypisstake.avi done around 2 months ago,

The trick is to take the file out in hex, create your new file (has to be the same size or less), then open your new file, and add enough 00 padding that its EXACTLY to-the-byte, the same size as the original image, then replace the image you want to replace.

There is lots i've done with the firmware and haven't bothered to release :/

im not sure if this is related but i found a glitch yesterday to do with the Settings > System Settings > About PSP. Ok, so when ure in "About PSP" if u press x and any directonal buttons, it will stop playing, when u do the same thing again it will start playing again. basically like a pause and play control. now if u start pressing "up" and "x" like crazy just before the clip is done this happens if u did it right.

EDIT: I dont care if my MAC Address is showing, go ahead Hack me!

Damn, i thought i found out something new...lol it's still really cool though... I was going to try and make them the exact size, but i didn't want a paper weight :icon_wink I do have a question though have you found where the Icons are stored (Like the 'Settings','Music','Video ','Photo', and 'Game') I stayed up all night hex editing the RCO files trying to find them.

FLUFF!! Nice Ragnarok Website... Would you be intrested in host a Private Server?

That's because the icons aren't saved as png's, while it is possible to change them it's not possible to change them and the file still work on the unmodified psp's firmware, you can turn off the shadow/highlight on any bit of text/image though.

No this doesnt work. You need the encryption key to place the tif somewhere else becouse it is patched (encrypted but hoped he would understand it like this). Maybe there is a way trough gta becouse gta uses the fit as an exploit to export and import files from the flash to the memory with with the tif and allot of other files. I tried to run the code from the 2.0 downgrader on all kind of ways, tetris and the other new games even the cheat divise and the psp freezes or i get corrupted data i even tried to hide files in all the files and it didnt work. So there is maybe a way to do it and another code and im afraid it is the encryption key again.

I know i look like a noob becouse of my posts but im a member of psp3d and i be there allot.

Sorry, I'm tired... just gotta scream it out...

1. patched and encrypted is two completely different things.
2. what do you say is encrypted? Which file?
3. GTA has no write access to flash.
4. psp3d is just a bunch of lamers, if you want to learn psp hacking, ps2dev is the place to be.

1. We are talking about PNG's not TIF's.
2. The PNG's are stored at the end of the files and aren't encrypted.
3. What code are you trying to run that Freezes your PSP????
4. Learn Sentence Structure... I get a headache reading your post i've had to read it like 10 times before I started to understand what you were talking about.

Art: What is the file you attached?

PS2Dev is now straight Software Development they stop supporting hacks along time ago.
