Default Making a PSPRadio "pack" for site-what is best way of getting permission?

Hi. I'm now officially a DJ on an internet radio site, and I was going to write a tutorial on how listeners can listen to me and other DJs on their PSP using PSPRadio and the 2.0 Eboot loader (and, hopefully, if it's made, a 2.01+ eboot loader).

I thought the best way to put it together would be to make a big zip file including the eBoot loader version 0.9 with a custom designed menu and PSPRadio, with a customized play list which includes our station's URL.

Now, I am asking: do I need to get permission from the creators of said programs, or can I just use their programs (providing credit to them of course!)? I really don't want to clog up either of their inboxes, but if it's the best way then I'll do it.

Thanks for reading this

i would head on over to their forums and leave one of them a pm or email.
that seems to be the best way.

*kudos to you for actually asking devs promission.*

ya, you should give them a drop before you do this. Im pretty sure they would allow you too. But if you need help with the custom designed background i could help if you need it.

Thanks for your help guys. I sent a PM to Fanjita, but the one I posted on PSPRadio's forum goes like this:

Hi! I'd first like to thank you for what you've done to my PSP-it's very cool that I can listen to internet radio without being tethered to my computer.
I am an internet DJ on an internet radio show, and I am writing a tutorial on how to listen to our site on the PSP, using the amazingly amazing PSPRadio and Fanjita's eboot loader.
I thought the best way would be to make a zip file that included a copy of the eboot loader (with custom-designed menus) and PSPRadio (with a custom playlist, which includes our station).
Can I please have your permission to use redistribute PSPRadio? (providing credit to you, of course!)
It would be much appreciated.
Thanks for taking the time out to read this message.

Thanks a bunch and a half
Taylor
