Default Emu saves

Ive search for this already in the forums so if this is a duplicate posting Im sorry...

But when you do a state save in the SNES emulator is it a seperate file that I can back up? I want to upgrade to the new version of the emulator but I dont want to lose my save files. I worked so hard at Crono Trigger!!

Arrow saves.... backedup

yo

the saves are located in the folder called "saves" just move that folder to the new emu if you updated it and write over the new saves folder.

this is how it works for NES at least and i backed up my saves and it works

i have a save at the castle 8-4 smb1, hooray

Yep. It's the same for SNES. The saves are in that little folder titled "SAVE"
