You should make the Save states on the same page just like SNES 9X. And, in the menu, if you hold down the "Down" button, it just stays on the currently selected, it doesn't scroll down. And of course, the menu selects should have an option too. I'm not trying to be a *****'n whiner, I'm just telling you some advise in the next update. Thnx for all your work Homer, gotta love that emu.Zitat:
What's so complicated about it?
I'm aware of the down/up button thing and I know what's causing it.
OK, sweet, thankz for listening to my complaints :). Does Zelda Oracle of Seasons & Ages work? Because if I can recall it didn't work in like the first or second emu version.
yes they worked for my FW 2.0 through all versions of homers rin.
I feel like posting somewhere.
Looking forward to 3.3 Homer. Keep up the good work.
Homer...I love you. I'm sad to say that I haven't tried any of the older versions of your RIN emulator, but I was just waiting for sound, and I am so VERY thankful for you providing us with a full speed GB-GBC emulator. A couple of my games didn't work but the majority ran like a dream! I was just posting to say that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I mean, I had to sell a lot of my old gameboy games to afford the GBA when it first came out, but this way I can play all of my favorites again. Thank you so very much! Any plans for the next release? I don't mean when it's gonna come out, but rather, are you adding anything new? I don't really see anything TO add except maybe proper super gameboy emulation with the extra sound channels for games like Donkey Kong. Or maybe customisable GB palattes like in VBA or No$GB.
Anyways, I just have one more question. How do GBA games run? I saw that they are supported...or at least it appears that way...Thanks!
GBA roms arent supported. Some games unlock special features when run in a GBA, so when its set to GBA mode you can unlock the features without actually using a GBA... im assuming - thats my best guess.
Dr. Butcher is correct, the GBA option is like "running gameboy and gameboy color games on a gba" not actually a gba emulator, this unlocks special items and monsters etc. in certain gameboy and gameboy color games.
WTF??
What's wrong with that PSPunk??
i love heather<3
homers rin is the best gb/gbc emulator out thx for all the hard work you have put into making it great and ignore those retards who probably dont know how to code themselves
YOU ARE MY FAVORITE CODER EVER
anyway i think its time we closed this subject and if anyone has anything to do with rin then post away but lets not get off topic here.
i was thinking homer if you having problems still with mp3 player option i don't know if DJSP is open source but it may help?
fu, dont close this thread ! :<
He said close the subject not the thread. In other words stop talking about Homers gender and start talking about RIN.
Yo homer, I got a good idea (sorry if its already been mentioned) maybe you could add an automatic installer thing like the eloader has and PSP Rthym. Keep up the good work
EDIT: opps, change my sig
yeah good idea they are simple to do with winrar....
Thx  what do you think Homer?
I might do that.
homer change ur avatar thingy ;/
you really need to learn to read...also stop spamming up this thread with off topic stuff like "Homer change your avatar" this thread is about RIN myabe you need to re-read the thread title again...Zitat:

OK, I just had to delete a ton of OT posts in here. Some were reasonable, some were just junk, some were way over the line - to be fair, I've just deleted all of them. I apologise if I deleted your well-thought-out post.
So Homer is a girl - get over it. She doesn't see it as a big deal, and nor should you. We certainly don't need any more OMFG posts about it.
lol thats pretty kool I have never seen a chick that really likes this stuff lol
How could you ;(
Just wanted to keep you a bit updated. The current bugs/features/whatever I need to fix are:
*7.2 MB mp3 filesize restriction (anything higher than that will make the emu crash)
*MP3 Player interface
*Text reader (hopefully)
All this time that's all you've accomplished, I thought that you were spending all this time on something amazing  but anywayz, a MP3 player would still be awesome, however I am converting all my MP3s to WMA because the New PSPlayerMT plays wma files and they will save me like 150mb of space...so is the music player going to be able to play my wma files? Thanks for the hard work and can't wait :DZitat:

yes but, what else could be added? the emu is perfect all thats left is to add cool features!Zitat:

the sound on gbc wasnt that good so put on ur own music! its gonna be good

Try working with the mp3 player source code yourself. You'll notice it's not that simple.
(I won't get mad)
thanks for update homer, looking forward to your next release. :)
Does this mean that you'll be able to play games while listening to music? What does the text reader do (like you'll c a text while playing a game)?Zitat:
Zitat von homer
Yes, you'll be able to listen to mp3's while playing.
And the text reader can be used to display text while in the emulator (for viewing walkthrough's etc).
Nice. :) Looking forward to your next release.
oh...that's pretty cool...especially because the friggen turbo sound on pokemon is unbearable, oh yeah, that reminds me, did ya add frame skip? Because Pokemon simply isn't fast enough, but way too fast on turbo...damn...totally awesome to listen to my pemo music while playing game and watch :b
Also, I have looked into a MP3 player...it is pretty tough...man..
Message deleted.
Reading walkthroughs while playing the rom on the same device, now THATS genious...Zitat:

What the hell would you do with the source?Zitat:
Zitat von PSPunk
Dr. Butcher, don't start this again.
And no, there's no source code available.
Study it, because I'm working at C programming and need to learn some stuff but can't find many good source codes...and I want to look at how complicated the emu is..Zitat:
