Now Kyo, who is the homer expert again and an elite? ME! HEHE! This 3.0 deppresses me, but to tell ya the truth, I completely forgot about homer's RIN cuz of the new eLoader!

Heres the scoop.

There WAS a patch in progress but Homer realized all you needed to do was to delete the RIN folder and install again, backedup roms and saves of course. And all shall be fixed... and he was right. Its just like before with early updates when you had to do the same for it to work.

Its crazy but I cant figure out how to set a custom background. Ever since the BACKGROUND folder was introduced I cant understand.

What must the bg be named and where should it be put?

You can put it anywhere with any name (it has to be a png though). If you want that file to be set as wallpaper just select it in the file browser and press START.

First couple of times i had problems running 3.0 but
I found that if you delete all the files inside Config folder runs ok then

EDIT: where can i find he cheatlist to load in rin's gb emu? Or if i have to make them how do i make them?

You should really rename "Back to rom list" or whatever it is to "File Browser"

Either that or create another option specifically for seeting BGs...

I tried loading a .pmg, .bmp, .jpg and each time it says that it failed to load. Is there a new way to set the background now?

I did hit start on a .png and nothing happened.

Awesome work Homer. Finaly got rid of Rin1.3 for homers 3.0 version. i am using eloader 0.9.5 with firmware 2.0. keep up the good work homer great job.

Hey Homer, I have 2.6 Firmware. the 3.0 wont work. All it does is crash, and I have to battery reset. Is there something wrong with what I'm doing? Or, you're in the process of fixing whatever is wrong?

I just tried it on my 2.6, and it worked flawlessly. Sound and Everything.
When does it crash? If it's after you've loaded a ROM, try a different one..

3.0 working on 2.01, playing oracle of ages, works a treat.

Here's exactly what I did.
-First off I have Brown Ale patched version
-Downloaded Homersrin 3.0
-Dragged contents into PSP/Game/GBC/ (Which worked for the previous HomerRIN)
-Load GTABrownAle
-Select Homers Rin 3.0 in eLoader Menu
-Crash
-Rips papers

Exacty my problem! I can´t get this to run. I had rin1.3 before. It worked perfectly (no sound).

This is my problem:

I start GTA -> loads the Eloader -> Than when I tries to start The rin3.0 the screan becomes black and after that I have to reboot it.

Dont put config files inside config folder, it didnt load until i erased them
Leaver thet folder completely blank for the first load. I had the same problem and i solved it like this.
