PSPunk, the idea with zip support is: 600 MB zipped > 1Gb unpacked. And since most people have a 1gig card as maximum that helps alot.
Anyway, the background can be changed in the Load Rom dialog. Just highlight the background you want (must be in png) and press START.

Yeah, homer, this RIN is almost 100% perfect. I think you should work on GBA now that we have a working eLoader one.

Yes, I know, but NOONE will fill up they're PSP with roms enough to use up that much space to need ZIP. I only have about 80mb of GBC roms...so it would only be like 65mbish if they were all zipped....don't see the point unless you have over 60 games, me I have 45 games.

I love having ZIP support, I have well over 6000 roms on my computer (I like to play "hacked" roms.) I can just put alot of them on, and choose which to play once they're all on.

I think ZIP support might be so that you can download the ROMs using your PSP. That's what I use it for. Just lay on my bed, pick out a ROM, download it, then play it. No PC required.

YES! Finally! An EXIT option! I've been waiting for this forever! Rin 1.32 was working fine on my 2.0 PSP, but I've finally replaced that with Homer's version. Good job, man.

Now...someone needs to do the same for NesterJ (adding an exit option :P).

Yes, I do know about L+R+Start, but selecting an option from the menu just feels..better.

Hi,

I have been using Rin 1.32 GBC emulator on my 1.5 Psp since it was first released.

After hearing about the latest update to Homers Rin for 2.01 firmware I decided to try your version on my 1.5 and I am very pleased with what you have accomplished.

My only request is to have the emulator save the path of the gbc roms location because each time I start the emulator, I have to navigate all the way back to where my gbc roms are located.

On my memory stick I store all roms in one location under O:\Psp\Roms\GBC as opposed to inside each individual emulator folder.

Also I found that I was losing sound when I loaded up new roms but this does not always occur so dont know if it can be fixed. I do not know if this behaviour happens under 2.01 firmware but many times when I have loaded a new gbc rom, sound dissapeared completely whether I disabled and enabled in the menu.

Thanks and keep up the good work, I think you will see more 1.5 / 2.0 users once they are aware of the improvements when compared to Rin 1.32. Regards, keep up the excellent work.

Nice backgrounds. And I know the cheat file doesn't have to be named the same as the ROM, but I wrote that in my guide because it says that in the readme of the old RIN.
