Can someone explain to me what is the difference Kernel or User mode...which one is better for 2.00 FW? Thanks!

Use user mode its the only one that will work on 2.0

For 2.0 you don't have access to the kernel so you have to go with the regular version of TYLs emulator, do not get the me version as that is the one that requires kernel access and can only be used on version 1.5 and 1.0 PSPs.

want the difference??
1.5 users (like me) get the me edition. which is the fastest snes emu around
and 2.0 and up get the user standard edition which is incredibily slow..

Thanks for the answer! But right now I have 2.00 version should I stick with my
SNES TYL 0.2 or get the newer version 0.3?

for 2.0 stick with 2 its alot faster than 3 for 2.0 or if you want you can downgrade and get the faster version of 3..

ya i downgraded yesterday, and i tried version 3 and i find 2 still better.

**** no it's not! i have been playing chrono trigger all night ! running at 60 fps all the time with no slowdown what so ever!

I get the impression that a lot of people don't alter their settings when they use new versions of emulators. With new versions you always should test out new settings because you could find a new set of settings which is vastly superior to your old ones. Remember, it is a new version and thus new features.

I like the whole screen calibration thing, however the whole point of the PSP crashing when you put it to sleeping mode is really bad....I am beginning to think .2 is better than this new version.
