I mean it was Linux based then they converted it to Windows and I think they released the source codes for both. So, what's stopping it from hitting the PSP scene? Just think playing your own custom fighting game on PSP.

Actually the source code was never released. Sure wish it was though. I have an idea on how to port zesensei's kof91 version which somewhat supports mugen. If we use the port the gp32 version of kof91 which uses the gp32's graphics instead of allegro and convert it to psp we could make a kof91 clone for the psp. Then using zesensei's version, we could add mugen support. Anyone want to give it a go?

Sorry anout it not making any sense. Let me see if I can clearify a little in reverse order.
zesensei made modifications to kof91 to support some mugen items such as menus, configurations, character selection, and other miscellaneous things so that it somewhat runs mugen coding. kof91 requires the allegro graming library to compile, however Thor a GamePark32 programmer managed to use the GamePark32 (GP32) handheld's own graphics libraries to compile it for the GP32. If a person was to port the GP32 commands to PSP commands then we could compile the GP32 kof91 on the PSP. After that make the modifications that zesensei made and it would then include the mugen parts. Hence a partial mugen clone. Sorry if no one understands this. It's kind of hard to explain. |

YAHR (Yet Another Hombrew Request).
While this DOES sound like a fine chance for a young PSP homebrew programmer to "shine", read the forum FAQs first. Then PM anyone you think might be interested in helping YOU port it.
