What is the best GBA emulator available (speedwise)? It seems there there are a couple different releases.

Also, are there any performance differences between 1.5 and 2.0?

probably the one released by miemt is the best, as it has 2.0 support. none of them run at a good speed to be honest. i tried mario kart, and i gave up after one circuit!
the best way to know which is the best is to test yourself.
i don't think miemt added any speed improvements.
if you want speed improvements, perhaps try learning about emulators and the pc, and make the gba emulator better, i'm sure there source is available.

well if a game isnt at full speed, racing games wont work. But yea i agree, there are onlt two out now, try each one and figure out which one is faster

if you really want to play something try rpg or strategy games like advance wars 2 works fine for me even if it's pretty slow
