I've just been viewing the source, finding the SWF file, popping that into the address bar, and then "save page as"

You can either do that or a get a special program to do it, there are many out there that do this. One is called xFileGet if I remember correctly....

Default The real way to download .swf files!!!

Here is a guide to download .swf files directly (trust me it works, i have been doing it for years)...

-=BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING=-

1. Open Internet Explorer (IE) and visit the link below to get Flash Player 8 installed for Internet Explorer
http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/...ShockwaveFlash
(You need this so you can view the filse in Internet Explorer).

2 Part 1. This is required if you want to watch the cartoons on your computer You have to have Flash Macromedia (the real program, not the download for the Internet Explorer) if you want to watch and create .swf files
http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/td...oduct=flashpro
OR...
2 Part 2. You can download Swiff Player 1.1 FREE!!! (589kb, thats very small) if you just want to view the .swf files
http://www.globfx.com/downloads/swfplayer/
(I recomend you download swfplayer because the download is small and it works very well)

-=THE GUIDE=-

1. Open Internet Explorer (IE).

2. Go to "Tools" (at the top) then choose "Internet Options...".

3. On the General Tab (usually the default one) click "Delete Cookies..." and "Delete Files..." (it may take a while to do so).

4. After you finished step 3 click "Settings..." (it's in the same tab as "Delete Cookies..." and "Delete Files...").

5. Now you will see a bar, slide the bar until the box above 100 MB.

6. Now click the "View Files..." button.

7. You will be taken to the Temporary Internet Files folder.

8. Now at the top of the Temporary Internet Files click "Favorites" then "Add to Favorites".

9. Now you can visit it anytime by just going to the "Favorites" in any folder.

10. Now exit all the crap.

11. Go to your favorite flash (.swf) site (like Newgrounds + Search for my cartoon "Stoned Ages 1" by RenobProductions... JK???) IN INTERNET EXPLORER YOU MUST DO THIS IN INTERNET EXPLORER BECAUSE IT WORKS BEST WITH FLASH AND IT HAS A EASY TO FIND TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES FOLDER.

12. Now just load the cartoon until it is 100% loaded.

13. Then close the cartoon in Internet Explorer and go to any folder in you computer and at the top go to "Favorites and choose "Temporary Internet Files" or whatever you named the like to that folder.

14. Once inside the Temporary Internet Files right click anywhere on an empty spot in the folder and select "View" then "Details", it might be already selected, then at the mid-top above all the files there should be tabs that says stuff like "Name", "Internet Adress", "Type", "Size", ect... Click on the "Size tab until the arrow next to the word "Size" is pointing down.

15. Since the .swf file in usually big it should always be at or near the top, find it and copy (Ctrl + C) and paste (Ctrl + V) it anywhere you would like to keep your .swf files.

16. There you go, you know know how to download .swf files!!!

-=TIPS=-
1. Remember to always have the "Size" Tabs arrow pointing down
2. Clear your temporary internet files every now and then by doing steps 1-4

If you have any questions you can direct them to a brick wall because I made this as clear as possible, (JK on the wall part).

E-Mail me if something doesn't work RenobProductions@yahoo.co m

BTW I AM NOT RESONSIBLE FOR ANY STOLEN .swf CARTOONS, THIS IS A DO IT YOURSELF GUIDE *thanks*.

Thank you and good night.

To save a SWF in Firefox you can right-click (or go into the Toolbar and go under the Tools menu), select Page Info, click the Media tab, look in the list for swfs and select the swf and then hit the Save As... button.

Has anyone had any sucess using an eLoader? Specifically the GTA eLoader. I'm running the GTA eLoader on my 2.0 for when I get around to updating, plus I find the GTA eLoader superior in certain aspects to the tiff method.

I also have a few more questions, if anyone who can get this to work cares to answer:

Does it have key mapping for games like it promised?
How does the cursor and clicking work? (By the way, to the guy who can't play foamy because he can't click, if there are key mapping functions try using tab to select the play button and enter to click, but I guess that wont work if the answer to the first question is no.)
Does it lag any, and with what?

switch out the mp3 files in the animation with PCM wav files. This should solve the problem.

Yo! Well you can switch the music if you have the .fla files which are the source files... Didn't you say that they were your animations? Well anyway... I have problem too... It's that I tried out some flash tests and game stuff I made before on this And it doesn't work... -_- If I try to use anything with ActionScript it freaking shows a black screen and some letters like in 2.0 -> 1.50 downgrade .tif And freezes.. But it did display a VERY small animation for a weapon on a separate file but the whole weapon was left out! So I suppose that this doesn't really work all that well as I had hoped for But maybe it is to only to older players than 8 and 7?? Well It freezes up on all with actionscript right away -_- I hope the next version will be more stabile!

PS: I've done flash for over a year now and my newest Flash thing is an MP3-Player you can download it from this url:
http://www.geocities.com/dablackrave...mp3-player.zip
It is in .exe format not in .swf. It probably wouldn't work on this player anyway since it plays MP3's! ^_^

This is a good start, but all the swf files I have take a long time to load and there is no sound.

Also seems like quality is set to low, anyone know how to change this?

Looking forward to future releases!!

Well I tried this out, and it looks very neat. The .swfs take like 10 minutes to load, then hardly work (Or at least the ones I tried).

Also, anyone else freeze up after using it? Like when the .swf loads its sooooooo sloooooowwww. The .swfs I tried were Skittles N Bitz 7 and StinkoGame. Both never got past the loading screen

No, I tested it. At least, I tested it using the GTA eloader, which should have the same sucess rate as the tiff by this point, at least on the same version. Look forward to future releases though. Keep this in mind: It only took rRootage about a week to come out with a version that worked on 2.0. It took Fanjita quite a while to fix the eLoader so that PSPGBA worked on 2.0. So, you never know what to expect.
