yeah but i have 1.50 firmware so now what do i do...

i have no clue what to do becuae the patcher says it does not apply to you firmware (the first time i tried it, it work...so maybe it already saved to my psp)
and the creator say 150.pbp could not be loaded...

and another thing...where do you put the emulator and other tools you have on the first page after yo done downloading them....do they go in the psp/game part of your memory stick?

so after i update the firmware to 3.52 m33 and i download to ulimate homebrew package. what do i do next...(what folder do i put in on the psp)

can someone please help me with screenshots im on 3.40 OE-A and ive put Irshell on my psp then when I go to UMD ICON and press :O EBOOT.BIN it says failed to load application or sumithing like that

Are you using the 1.5 kernel EBOOT? You have to use the 3.xx kernel EBOOT to load UMDs that need higher firmwares.

Pimpstreamer can stream flvs from your computer to your PSP, but there's no program just on the PSP to play flvs. You should code one!

Yes, there's a PDF reader for PSP. It's called Bookr. It's also included as a plugin for iR Shell so just use iR Shell (the latest version is 3.7 which works onf FWs up to 3.71 M33-2) to load PDFs.

replace dgens with PICODRIVE! Its a genesis/sega cd emulator that runs genesis games at full 60fps. But I'm having trouble running sega cd games.

Why don't you want IRshell? It does just about everything, and it's extremely easy to install now. I remember one of the older ones was harder to install, but now you just put a folder on the root of your MS, and put the eboot into your game folder.

I think it's cool because you can download any new homebrew and install it without a computer.

Hello everyone, I am a bit confused!
After reading through the forums for about the whole weekend I still cannot find the answer to what I am looking for.
I haven't touched my PSP for about 1 year now. It is 1.50 fw.
I tried loadind a couple of UMD ISO games(Final Fantasy Tactics and Silent Hill) with my old UMD Emulator but unsuccessfuly!
I think it is because these games require a higher FW version.
Well my question is if there are newer UMD Emulators that can load these games or if not what do I have to do with my PSP to get those game ISO's running?
I see all sorts of custom fw and so many other things but am not sure what needs to be done?
All help will be apretiated

btw, All the work that everyone is doing here is great and very helpfull

the only thing that makes me think twice about IRshell is that the screen is filled up with icons or can I still use the XMB(I havent read the IRshell readme and thread yet :P) but i like the fact that it can be used as a RC
