Does anybody know if there is an application that plays video files that are NOT re-encoded? I don't want to have to re-encode every xvid AVI I have into PMP or AVC, I want to play them directly.

Try put psptube...It plays xvid files...

Or just wait till FW 4.0 comes out,...It has been said that it might have divx support like the ps3 does..

Just use MediaCoder to transcode them. It took me maybe 3 days to go through over 200GB of video.

Freeplay, what were the CPU specs for the computer you used to convert?

when i start pspbtcnf patcher, it says not original pspbtcnf.bin, patching aborted.

I'm on a psp fat with custom firmware 3.71 M33-3 running from the power cord, because i utterly destroyed my battery, and i can't buy a new one untiull i get my money in 2 weeks.

for all firmware downgrading do not forget you will need the pandora battery and mms
