Snes9xTYL ME
A full speed, fully functional Snes emulator.

Daedalus R12
A wip N64 emulator, emulates games for the Nintendo 64 gaming system. Some games may be slow or not work at all.

gpSP
A GBA emulator that is full speed.

Shooters:

Attack of the Mutants
Atom is a really great homebrew game. You get to shoot mutant space pizzas. Unfortunately, this game can get repetitive, but there is a mod feature, adding many more hours of play. Very Addictive.

Doom
This is one of my favorites, the ability to play doom on the go. You can also play other custom wads.

Halo Genocide 1.3
Halo Genocide is a clone of halo in 2d.

Noiz2sa
One of the best psp shooters. It is also tons of fun and very difficult.

Quake PSP
Whaddya think it is? It's Quake for the PSP!

Platforming/Puzzles:

Bunny Tetris
Polished tetris clone for the psp. Lots of fun and addicting.

Treasure of Pharaoh
Lode Runner clone, except it takes place in Ancient Egypt. Very addictive.

Mega-Mart
Make your way through the evil Megamart in a quest to get your money back.

Squarez
Omg...I've been playing this game 24/7. IT'S SO ADDICTIVE. Anyway, it's a great game. Get it now.

Super Mario Milestone 2
A supertux mod but with Mario. A great game.

Supertux
Weather you love games like Mario, or just love penguins, this game is for you. It's just like Super Mario in the Artic.

Sudoku XK v0.1
Play Sudoku on your psp.

R-Gear: Tribute to R-Type
Clone of R-Gear III on the snes for the psp.

Super Smash Bros. Clone. Watch 24 video characters beat the s*** out of each other.

Openbor
Remember the old beats of rage ? It took 20 min to load, and crashed ? This is no more. Beats of Rage has quickly become one of my favorite homebrew games. The game loads in under 10 seconds now and is 100 % playable. It's like a Streets of Rage Clone.

General Games:

PSP Millionare
Nothing good on tv ? All repeats ? Do you love who wants to be a millionare ? Then this game is for you. Answer over 1000 questions as you try to win the ultimate prize, one million dollars.

Casino Addict
Like I don't spend enough time on my psp. It's 4 great casino games in one.

Flying Games:

No Gravity Demo
Best looking homebrew game ever. Even got a spot at E3.

KETM
A great space ship fighter thing. Loads of fun.

Callisto
You play as a bounty hunter and get a cool ship.

A Dance Dance Revolution clone. Alot of fun.

Firmware Emulation/Modification

Custom Firmware 3.52 M33
Team M33 has decided to continue Dark_Alex's work and released 3.52 M33. It is the latest firmware with the homebrew capabilities of 1.5. The offical M33 website can be found http://m-33.narod.ru/ and it is always up to date with the latest patches.

Devhook
An application made by booster to emulate firmwares up to 3.11!

Note about Emulators + Devhook:

Emulators Snes9xTYL, GPSP, RIN need roms to run. They are illegal unless you own the original game so don't ask for them here. They can be easily found with a simple search. GPSP requires a BIOS to run so search for gba_bios.bin and get it. Devhook requires decrypted/dumped firmware files that cannot be distributed so you will need to dump the on your own.

I wouldn't add emulators. What's most helpful about this list is that it's short - adding to it would mean having to wade through too much. Maybe in a seperate thread?

On another note I wonder why Vector Infector didn't make the list. I think it's pretty good, even if it's not quite on par with Squarez for gameplay.

I think he should add emulators but instead of adding them to the homebrew list you should make a section in big bold letters and stick the emulators in there, while still keeping the good but short homebrew list intact.

Honestly, PSPJabber should be up there. I understand not many people can configure it, but once you get it running, you have AIM on your PSP anywhere there's a WiFi connection. I'd have to give it an 8.5 out of 10.

Not trying to be an *******, but I think PSP-OSS sucks. There's nothing special about it. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It's a downgraded form of the XMB. How exciting.

Anywayz I agree with Master-Chief, PSPJabber should be up there, even though I've never gotten it to work.

if pspradio is the best homebrew, than y is the mph umd lauuncher ranked higher, u may want to hit the edit button there

you know also what ive been thinking about.. is making premad "homebrew" pack lists for people depending on both their psp preferences and thier memory stick size

(ie a txt file showing what to pack... ir remotes/movie players for a movie fan... emus for old school gamers.. etc.. )

but with the 2 gigs getting within a resonable price i think we can fit everything we need :-)

What are these random numbers? 8.4, 9.7? A linked list is cool, but these scores you've assigned are kind of baseless. Are you rating them based on usefulness, on effort, on how polished they are? Personal choice? Either way, everyone is going to rank them differently. Since they're all 8+, just remove the scores.
