Could anyone give me a hand here? I'm stuck at the step "open system.dreg" with a hex editor (im using WinHex) and find and replace flash0:/font with ms0:/fontmod. The thing is, I can find the flash0 text, but how do i change it? (again, Im using WinHex) (I've never before used a Hex editor)

Wait now I'm really confused. I'm not on IRC so I think I missed a lot...Can anyone give a very quick overview of how to make fonts. Like extremely quick on how I could do it? I am a quick study, all I need is an overview.

Now if I want to revert back to the standard fonts, I could just use default settings or do i copy the original registry files back onto the flash? Because I made a backup just in case.

ok im using flash emulation with UMD emulator to test it out...the last step is to copy the system.ireg and dreg back to the psp flash1 folder...but when i try that in file assistant .4 it says copy error...has anyone sucessfully copied that 2 files back to the psp.?

new on called neat .. very nice and soft look :P give it a go

and everyone know thought u use 15 is right.. i just use 0 because it just changes the interface really.. if u have all 15 ..when u type ur url in the browser the letters are different .. thats why we only use ltn0

so if i delete the fontmod folder off my memory stick or i just happen to boot my PSP without the memory stick in it, what will happen?

WTF?? Lately my PSP has been giving me the blue screen of death....

So you leave all the other files untouched? And the web browser doesnt crash when changing address either? Yeah I changed the dreg.

yea see u copy the font file from flash0 and rename the file fontmod.. then just overwrite the itno.pgf and thats all..

hwo do you install the custom fonts? like the simpsons one from a couple of pages back?

u g2 copy ur system.dreg file from flash1 and hex it so u just change flash0:/font to ms0:/fontmod and put all ur fonts in there (well fonts from flash0.. u overwrite them)and u g2 use fixdreg3 to fix up the system.dreg file.. then put that back in flash1 and overwrite the one u have in there and that showd work.. .......hard to read this i know .. am crap at writeing tutorials..

i have this working with the italic one thats supplied by TO.but i just wanted the simpsons one instead, and wanderd how to do it? do i just put it in the fontmod folder?

Ok, now something really BAD happened. The menu icons in the web browser are missing!

i followed that and it worked.i just want to know how to install some of the custom fonts people in this thread have made

Is there any other progress on this other then the fact that you can change the font on your PSP, I.E. flash access on 2.01+

we can access flash1 but not flash0 unfortunatly (in 2.01+)
