does anyone else have any problems playin wipeout after installing the custom fonts?
I have a problem. I just got rid of my custom fonts because they were to buggy and got the bosd. I did that on purpose. I went into usb connection and tryed to delete the fontmod folder. It was able to delete everythong except ltn0.pgf. I would delete that file then exit the folder and try to delete the folder and the same thing happened. I went back into the folder to see what was still in there and ltn0.pgf was still in there. I had made a back up of my system.dreg and system.ireg and restored them with file assistant and the proble kept happening. I could live with this but I would rather not.
Oh and the ltn0.pgf is also 0 bytes.

I've tried about 20 of my own fonts so far, and none of them do...
edit: nope, it doesn't. It generally looks very messy... some symbols aren't there (just replaced with rectangle)...
Anybody found a font that works with the browser?

Can someone please give me step by step instructions on how to do this.
I am using hex workshop 4.2, file assistant 0.4, I have a 1.5 psp and have custom menu names.
I want to have the fonts written to my flash and I want to use the custom halo font.
I have been trying to do this for at least 3 hours and have read all posts in this thread.

Thanks to the embolden & italicize features, I was able to generate a complete set of 16 different PSP fonts (ltn0-ltn15), to replace all Latin font files. Italic and bold text should look now correctly in the browser, unlike previous font mods.

It will build in Linux, but requires version 2.1.10 of the FreeType2 library. We don't have a Windows build yet.

That's an interesting problem. I've downloaded, built, and installed the latest version of FreeType, but I cannot build his tool in Windows or Linux. Not sure what's wrong here...
Edit: The Linux build works; I just had to fix a path in the 'build' script.
It was: ./configure; make; make install for me...

Well, I will stick with this becuase it doesnt require you to write to the flash and risk a brick to change your font.
if ur able to upload a pict into the fonts wouldn't that be enough for it to load some strings ? or any1 of u got any ideas to continue with this exploit instead of just changing the fonts ?

It was pretty hard to build in Win32 (it requires the latest Freetype, so we had to compile that too, and there were some problems with making the linker see the light). But in the end Freeplay and me prevailed! :D
Please read the README... New functionality is not trivial to use.
