So far, we've confirmed that the registry hack works on 1.50, 2.00, 2.01, and 2.60!

Skylark and I will probably spend the next few days hacking away at the font file format, trying to figure out stuff. He says that he'd love to try to make a TrueType font renderer, but I'm sure that's still a ways off :p

The psp system browser seems to lockup quite a bit when loading fonts off the memstick. I am looking to try and fix this now...

Are those Font Files some apropriate Sony ****? When just examinig my Font Folder i discovered a File called gb3s1518.bwfon which I´m sure I haven´t seen when playing around with FileAssistant some weeks ago. Does anybody know what this file is for?

Have noticed this, too. Also I think PSP is running slightly slower when using font off of MS. Funny thing happens, whe you pull out your MS after PSP booted up. If you change menu from Game to Music for example, no Fonts are Displayed. I think, PSP tries to reload some Font data but doesn´t find them, when MS isn´t inserted.

I think that, when you first boot the PSP, it checks the path stored in the registry to make sure the fonts exist. However, if you eject the MS after a few seconds, it doesn't check anymore, and it doesn't care :p

Is it possible to now use these font files to put the old version of libtiff back in? after all, it would think that it's ok as it's running from a "Sony" file.

is that what the psp searches for when it boots up then? the fonts?

Hmmm, i dont know if they could put the old libtiff in there. If they could, all firmwares are pretty much hacked :D

what Im wondering is if you guys are just working on a downgrader or allowing 2.6 users to have access to ekrnel mode and 1.5 homebrew without having to downgrade and possibly adding the ability to enhance umd games to 333 mghs for 2.6?
