Default PSPlayerMT For PSP AVI PLAYER

"Today, another homebrew player has revealed itself on the internet. I'm now acting very calm, but in fact I'm starting to boil inside! Read the following text and join the boil with me! =D

PSPlayerMT is a homebrew audio/video player for the PSP, which is capable of playing AVI videos with resolution up to 480*272@29.97 fps without lags. Yay! No more transcoding! The GUI is currently very simple, but the performance is so great. However unfortunately, we can't figure out the name of the author to give the credit to. All we know now is that it is made by a Korean guy."

Like What it says it runs BEAUTIFULLY.
Standing right beside PMP this homebrew lets u run AVI videos with resolution up to 480*272@29.97 fps without lags "i have tested it and it runs beautifully, but u MUST set the resolution to 480 272 for it to run or it will just show a black screen"

Don't have a very fancy interface like PMP but it delivers the result just like PMP.
If u r looking for a EASY way to put nice looking video into ur psp i recommend this homebrew 100%.

Having problems with getting a program to set the resolution to 480 272 ?
try this encoder Click Here

My Score for it 9 out of 10

Having problems on getting a freeware DVD RIP programme ?
try this dvd ripper Click here
A guide on using the ripper

I'll try it. What is the best tool to quickly resize a VOB, MPG or AVI file ?

Thanks

Do a search for VirtualDub, it resizes like a charm.

Edit: Here's the link, VirtualDub 1.6.14

Does it support subtitles or alternate audio tracks?

Not sure about that.
I just convert stuff that I either: understand what they're saying, or it's anime so that subtitles are already there.

hopefully there will be a nice GUI soon (like the PMP one and 3D if possible), cause I am a total graphic fetishist.

Heh. My Elfen Lied torrent came entirely in Matroska, and the primary audio track is English with subtitles turned off. It was a ***** getting them to run under Mplayer with subs on and Japanese dubs.

Anything I could use to actually embed the subs into the video and change the primary audio channel?

Use a MKV demuxer and then recombine the correct video and audio together, then use virtualdub and plugins to hardsub and re-encode

OMG This is the **** man. The ability to transfer ogm and mkv files to avi and then run them on psp. OMG It's so clean and in such a small size and the ability to change the quality is the best. I have no problems running my movies on it using the all to avi converter that was given. This has to be one of the best homebrew apps to date. PSP Radio, the UMD Loader that plays 2.0+ games on 1.5, Fanjita's eloaders, and now this has reached a top spot in the homebrew. Nice job to the Korean. (Asians are really good at programming of course)

Can anyone point me to a program that converts various formats to mp4, but it has to have the option of choosing the resolution, because most of the mp4 converters for the psp limit you to 320x240.
