Default IR Shell or Universal Remote?

OK, I was just wondering which program is better for using IR signals (like as a TV remote). I know IR Shell has all the other features, but I am particularly asking about the IR uses of both programs. So, which is the better IR application, IR Shell or Universal Remote? Thanks in advance for any help.

I have both, I use IR shell for my TV downstairs, and just today I used UR to ruin some guy's day while he was playing the display 360. Just get both if you have the free space, if not go for IR shell simply because it does EVERYTHING.

definately IRShell... you can put in your own pronto hex codes in the memstick and IRShell will become a remote control... and there are over 2000 plus hex codes at www.remotecentral.com

Is there a definitive FAQ for both programs?
I had issues getting codes from remote central. I couldn't download a file, only text off a multitude of pages.
