but could it be possilbe under a 2.01+ firmware, use eloader to load a PSP emulator?
So in effect a fw2.01 psp emulating a fw1.5 psp?

If this is ridiculous, then flame away or delete this post if necessary.
I had to suggest it though.

I know knothing about programming or hacking etc. but it was just running through my head - thinking outside rationality.

Trouble is theres no psp emulator either, not even for the pc.

And don't worry, you wouldnt get flamed for an idea like that, its not like most n00bs who ask questions like my 2.6 psp wont run isos please someone make an iso loader or downgrader!

And thinking outside rationality is what we need to get ideas for 2.01 hacks.

well yes and no, there is a psp emu for the pc, but it doesnt run any kernal mode on it, so you can only use it for pong if neccesary

but yes i wouldnt worry about getting flamed, only the newer members flame

but yes very good question and a very good idea and that was not a bad idea t all

Well are you asking on a PSP because if so you can use a firmware launcher by MPH that emulates

Like 1.5fw thinks its 2.5fw

The only problem with MPH firmware Launcher is it it doesn't work on 2.0+; radnoof wants to to do the opposite, which doesn't work.

Yes, very good idea though, It might be possible someday, later. It seems there is a lot of speculation that the Font Hacks might lead to a possible downgrader, or something like this.

The GBA is still diff. to emulate (slow)

actually it can't it only has flash1 access, pretty usless for a downgrader but if it had flash0 then that would be a breakthrough!!!!!!!
