I deleted FlashMod just yesterday after seeing what sort of a person Ichigo is ... there's not much it can do, that other apps can't anyway.

I really enjoy X-Flash and hope Art improves on it.

Oh, and if you build your app on PSPSDK samples, you're gonna have to release the source. So don't make it look like it's sooo special ...

I don't know who you are, but No one forced you to have Flashmod and Everything i release is Open Source and no it isn't built off PSPSDK samples.

You are a fool... Where do you think Art got the initial idea to create his app? FlashMod is without a doubt one of the best homebrews that has been created.

most of them now are based off flashmod or are u thick?

Where do you think Ichigo got the idea for his FlashMod from ???

It's a stupid example from PSPSDK where they show you how to read/write the flash, that's also the reason why it is open source. It *has* to be open source, since he based on other open source.

Many other people have written apps that write to the flash (pspset, the downgrader etc), it's not really that big of a deal apparently.

And I don't think that Art got his "idea" off Flashmod. As a matter of fact X-Flash can do stuff that Flashmod can't ...

And all the "hacks" that Ichigo puts into his FlashMod are actually discovered by other people. What he's good at is making pretty interfaces, that's all.

Personally, I don't even think they're pretty, but that's my just my taste.

No, other flashers are not based on FlashMod, otherwise they would have to be open source. Writing a flasher is not rocket science, you know ...

Actually awhile back i made 4 Hacked Versions of PSPSet so that i could flash the hacks Fluff released. This is what inspired me to make Flashmod.

No, everything i release is Open-Source it's in my name "Orbis PSP Development - Open-Source Development" Also i got the source from Team Emergency Exit i went on their IRC and was originally talking to them about the GPL Agreement and then the talk of PSPSet and how to write to flash sparked up. I then figured out how to mount Flash1 and Flash0 for Writing and then i did more research on PS2Dev

Yes i talked with Art and he was orginally gonna modify Flashmod, but then he decided to start his own X-Flash. Which i can Guarantee there is still Flashmod Code in it.

No i do not require applications built off FlashMod to be Open Source. The only reason why writing a flasher is not rocket science is because i released the code to the general public.

Fair enough, you programmed a good program especially for your age. Graphics are a matter of taste. Personally I like Flashers that look technical (text-mode and all), just because I am so strange and like to reminded of the low level I will be working on ...

Like I said, I have used your program in the past and found it useful. The reason why I deleted it is because of your attitude. And this is where your age really comes into the matter. Without trying to flame you, I think you will realize why I say this, when you get older. It just so happens that I'm more than twice your age but I still remember quite well how I thought as a 15-yr old kid. You remind me a lot of my own ignorant self when I was 15. And when you get older you'll feel silly for some of the things you said, trust me.

Some things you stated above aren't true, though ...

Did YOU or FLUFF discover the font hack ? I see that will be in the next version ...

Did YOU or FLUFF discover how to disable network update ? I see that will also be in the next release ...

Apart from that, please take this advice - I really mean it in a friendly way:
Please delete that stuff from your signature. It makes you look totally infantile. Being such a good developer at your young age shouldn't be compensated by writing stupid stuff a 10 yr old would come up with.

Alternatively, add me to that list ...

By the way the only reason i kept that in my signiture is because in that thread i wasn't trying to be a a$$hole i was just giving my opinion on the matter at hand...

Basicly my opinion was that he was getting mad because someone hacked his hacked Application for the PSP. So does that make him wrong for making a iR Shell in the first place. What if the creator of the PSP just said screw it once iR Shell came out.

I'm gonna have to back ichigo up here. He did nothing wrong. He was just expressing his opinion. Unfortunately, people don't like to listen to other peoples opinion and they get flamed and disrespected.
