Donkey64 Ultimate Fake proof, he's really fake!
Ha he's really fake! here!
HEre's an exert from PSdonkey in another forum he's posting in (i took this from his forum in his website):
Well after about 12 straight hours of programming last night, I am just about finished with my N64 emulator. I still have to sort out and clean up the code a little bit and still have to put everything together but for the most part it is almost done. It will probably be more towards the 31st when I will send out this emulator to those people I had promised. I will not however release my source code as of now to those people who will receive my N64 emulator. If however someone leaks out this emulator to the general public in the internet, then I am bound by legal laws to keep my project open source and therefore will release my source code to everyone if this emulator gets out to everyone.
About PSmonkey\'s Monkey64, The reason why PSmonkey\'s n64 emulator is no where near advanced as my emulator is because PSmonkey hasn\'t implented a dynamic recomplier into his programming. A dynamic recomplier is needed to get decent frame speed especially if you are going to emulate a N64 system. In fact PSmonkey hasn\'t even implemented a full interpreter into his programming either. All he has so far is the basic beginnings of an interpreter. PSmonkey has a long way to go to get his emualtor to the level that I have mine at. Once he finishes programming his interpreter into hsi programming he still has to convert his interpreter into a dynamic recompiler or make his own dynamic recomplier from scratch. On my Ultimate64 eumlator, I have both an interpreter and a dynamic recompiler built into the code. In the options menu, you can switch between interpreter mode or dynamic recomplier mode and see the difference for yourself. In interpreter mode, the N64 roms run alot slower than in dynamic recomplier mode.
