Please take note
Calum's Menu (What most of the images here are for) is being/has been phased out of the eLoader distrobutions. Therefore, the majority of information in this post, and the graphics in this thread are obsolete. Not to say they aren't high quality, they just won't work for the new menu.
To find images that better suit the new eMenu, please go here:

Also, please note that the index, eLoader Background Index, now supports the new format, so please upload your works there for people to find and use!.
Thank you for taking note
There's been 2 threads for this one topic long enough. I'd like to make this the official, one and only, eLoader background thread. I think this may help bolster the submissions back to the level they once enjoyed, and let people looking for new designs to find them easily. I also think we need to start from scratch because of how off-topic and filled with junk the others have gotten.
As such, I'd like to set a few rules. First of all, please use this thread only as a display for finished work or as a request venue. Please don't ask "how do you guys do this stuff?" or "d00d, ur werk sux!" I'd like to say no compliments just to help keep the thread on topic, but I think that would hurt more than help :) If you want to ask how we do it, read the quick FAQ at the bottom of this post.
Also, up until recently, artists who make eLoader backgrounds have been forced to use services like RapidShare, FilePlanet, crapBucket, and the like. I've designed a site that lets you upload, organize, and describe your works. The site also tracks downloads (see how many people like your stuff) and is PSP aware (so people using their PSP to browse the net can download, too). There's no charge for this, all I ask is that you keep on making new ones and let me know if you have problems.
Visitors can search, sort, filter, preview, and download the tgas for free as well. For a full (kinda old) feature list, please see My Announce Post
The website is Eboot Loader Menu Background Index by Flare576. Please check it out. Please use it to upload your works. Please, for the love of Christ, stop using the other sites that make you wait 30 seconds, click 3 times, delete your work after a week, don't let you preview the file, and basically make everyone's life suck a little more.

FAQ
Q: How do you guys do this?
A: Well, most of us use PhotoShop and a template file. My personal favorites are:
0.9.6+ with icon box
0.9.6+ without icon box
You open the template, paste your image as the bottom-most layer, then save as a Un-compressed 24-bit/pixel TARGA file. Also do a "Save for Web" and save a .jpg for a preview. After that's done, go to the login page, log in, and use the "Upload New Image" button at the top. If you don't have an account, just Register for a new one. Then, copy/paste the provided link into a new forum post, and you're done!
Q: The TGA that I saved doesn't seem to work. What's wrong?
A: There could be a lot of things wrong. First, are you sure you saved it as uncompressed 24bit? Some people have said in the past you can just rename jpgs and it works, but the eLoader can't read jpgs, so that's no good. Is the file-size 391,724 bytes? It should be exact, because without compression it just saves the details for each pixel. If all of this is true, you might just have an incompatable tga. All I can say is try starting over. I've experienced it before, and it's more simple to just begin again than to try and fix what you don't know broke.
Q: I saved the TGA, but it's actually BIGGER than 392k! It's closer to 500k, what happened?
A: The most common cause of this problem is saving the work with Alpha Channels turned on in PhotoShop. I'm not familiar with other programs, but in PhotoShop, when you have the Save As dialog box up, there will be a series of check boxes near the bottom. The first of these is "Save as Copy" and the next one is "Alpha Channels." Make sure it's unchecked, the PSP doesn't want 'em!
Q: I downloaded a tga from your site and put it on the PSP, but it doesn't work.
A: For right now you have to manually change the name of the file to loadmenu.tga. I may implement a feature that changes it when you download, but I doubt it. I'm more likely to have it setup to rename it to the title instead of phpq34y0 or whatever random letters it chooses.
Q: Do you guys take requests?
A: I can't speak for everyone, but I sure do. You can give me an image to start working with, or just give me a suggestion. I'll work in either case. Simply post your request in this thread and I'll have a go at it... unless, of course, someone beats me to it!
Q: Where do I put the .tga files?
A: You need to rename the files you download to "loadmenu.tga" and put them in %ROOT%\psp\eloader\. If you're using an older version, it's in %ROOT%\psp\GAME\

More to be added later me thinks.
100th Post by me. I thought this sort of thing was appropriate :)
